![]() The meta on more attacker sided maps gets quickly found out because there is only a certain number of things the defense can do. The rest of the sites on that map are very attacker sided. It is largely the exact opposite other than Oregon and that map is only defender sided because of how busted the basement is. To me super defender-sided maps are inherently more flawed and less interesting to watch and play than a super attacker-sided one. Oregon currently is a MUCH more stale, boring, and repetitive map that shows huge flaws in its layout composition. It is also healthier in the long run and more interesting to see maps that force different approaches to strats. The players are the ones who voted it out. If a team thinks they can win on a map that is all that really matters. It doesn't really speak to the strengths of the map. Very few top teams avoid Coastline for a reason. ![]()
